Fighting Attrition by Nutrition

Submitted by Greg on Tue, 2009-10-13 10:02

This weeks segment of GIS Get In Shape will focus on nutrition. Yum, I mean, fun, I mean wait...is it either of those? We will be talking to some of our coworkers here at GIS to see what they are doing to battle their weaknesses and hone their strengths when it comes to food. What's your weakness? I am guessing you have some things in common with myself and the wonderful people I work with here at GIS. So be sure to check it out on Monday after News 27, and if you miss it, you can check it out here on getinshape.gis.ky.

About Get In Shape

Do you want to lose weight, eat right, and feel better inside and out? If so, tune into GIS: Get in Shape! The new health and fitness series debuts on GIS Spotlight, starting in October 2009.

For three months, Host Heather Hopson, along with nearly a dozen coworkers, will team up with the Health Services Authority. HSA staff will teach participants how to not only shed pounds, but keep the weight off. They’ll also show them how diets don’t work, but meal planning and label reading never fails.
